Our story
Our journey began in 2013 with EMQX, the open-source MQTT broker. We founded EMQ in 2017 to build a unified MQTT platform for IoT and AI.
Today, EMQX connects over 500 million devices and 25 million vehicles worldwide. More than 1,500 enterprise customers trust EMQ, including BMW, Ericsson, Geely, HPE, Lucid, PepsiCo, Signify, Verifone, and Volkswagen.
Headquartered in Menlo Park, California, we operate an R&D center in Stockholm and a business hub in Boston, alongside 10 global offices. Our mission is to bridge the physical world with artificial intelligence.
